Does anyone know how to use the Plugin FX modules to perform Reverb on just one section of a track? I am mixing both loops and recorded vocal wave files in Acid and I need to add some effects to certain sections. I know I could use Sonic Foundry to do that in something like a wav file but its a pain in the rear to have to go back and forth ... more so if you dont like how it sounds etc.. Appreciate any suggestions or info. |

There's a couple of ways you could do it, but the most basic way is to click the Track FX button to apply track level FX. (The Track FX button is the button to the right of each track name. It's a green thingy.) :) However, you can't adjust the intensity of the effect over an event; it's basically stuck at that intensity throughout the whole track. Not a problem at all if all you want is for it to stay at that level throughout. You could create an assignable FX and use an envelope for a variable effect, but note that effects envelopes are available only in ACID Pro. (You didn't mention which version you had.) Iacobus |
