Does Acid have the ability to send back the source signal during a recording. I know the signal is getting into Acid because I can see it on the monitor levels, but I can't hear it. I can hear the track already layed down in Acid. Kevin |

I believe the ability to send back the source signal during a recording (or monitoring the signal) is handled by your soundcard. For example, my M-Audio Audiophile 2496 lets me route, say, the "S/PDIF In signal" to come through my analog output for monitoring purposes. I could also route it to go through my S/PDIF Out if I wanted to. Try checking your soundcard's mixer settings and/or manual for details. HTH, Iacobus |
