Subject:Batch Processor in SF 10

I had about a dozen audio files that all needed the same processing done to so I thought I'd use the Batch Processor for the job. The files were all .wma's and I grabbed them all then put a Compressor effect on them and let it go to town. It will do 2 or 3 then just freeze up and become unresponsive. I've had to kill it with Task Manager and start again 3 times now and I'm tired of it. I could have done all of them manually in the amount of time I've spent putzing with this thing! Anybody have any ideas on what might be causing this? I've got an AMD Phenom II X3 705e Processor with 4GB of RAM and plenty of HD space. I'm running Win 7 Pro 32 bit. Honestly, I've stopped using SF for anything to do with WMA files. I can't get it to batch process more than a few of them before it starts giving me errors. This is a crying shame. No reason, just won't save to the .wma format in Batch Processor. However, in an attempt to solve your problem, what are the specs of the .wma files (sample rate, etc). Also, what software did you use to make them? Rob. |
