Subject:The Grovel thing, what can we do?

EVERY time I start Sound Forge or Vegas, it scans for plug-ins, and display an error message with a sentence containing the word "GROVEL". And it's impossible to use the audio plug-in chainer, for instance. Technical support tells me that this is due to old direct-x plugins. But is it my responsibility to use hours to look for such plugins that I can't find? Shouldn't Sonic Foundry make a bugfree product instead? What can I do? I have the LATEST versions of the apps.

Go to http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/audio/dxman.htm
Download and install this handy free app. It will help to locate "Grovel" and stomp the little sucker via the REMOVE function. Don't miss their other free plugs too. Some of them are quite handy. Hope this helps.

Thanks. If this works, I'll buy you a beer next time you visit Norway.

No, do not remove them all. Is there one showing up called "Grovel"? I thought it would be easy to find this way, but maybe not??
