Sounds like you want to mix in an intro/exit vocal track to an existing mix - right?

If so, record your vocals onto whatever you are working with and import into your digital editor. There are several ways to do the mix, but there are 2 that are very easy.

Easier) If you have CD Architect, add the song file(s) & the vocal files to the audio pool. Put up the intro vocal first, then add the song track (click on it in the audio pool and drag to the track view - this will add it w/o placing a track ID for it). Drag the song track to wherever you want it to start in relation to the intro. Adjust the mix using the envelope lines. Do the same thing for the exit vocal.

Easiest) Load all your .wav files into individual tracks in Vegas (or other M/T editor) and drag each track event to the desired location in relation to each other. Adjust volumes (mix) and you're done. Vegas LE would work great for this (and it's cheap!).

If you don't have either program above, you can do it within Sound Forge but it will take a little more work. Open up each file in different windows. Double click on the song file (or portion of it that you want to mix in) and drag to the intro file. Before you drop it, right click your mouse until your cursor says "Mix". Drop the file where you want it to begin. You may have to experiment with this a little to get it just where you want. The mix window has some fine adjustment capability.

Happy mixing!
