Can Vegas Multicam work on this timeline ?

Have a look at my timeline: http://www.bruxx.it/frank/timeline.png

video tracks are composed of different video files (and their audio counterpart, but I should receive a clean audio track recorded from the mixer).

I was never able to use vegas multitrack.... is it possible to use it in this particular situation ? I did manually align (and then lock) the video files... Or should I render them one-by-one to have all the files already in sync ?

Thanks
Francesco

I don't see why not. I think you'll have to unlock them though.

When you create your multicam track you'll end up with cuts at the start and end points of each short event on the tracks that you include. Other than that it should work fine. If each event were exactly the same length you would end up with one continuous event.

I don't remember what created me problems in the past enabling multicam editing... for sure, I had problems...

Today I re-read the manuals and everything went fine.

In the process I got an assert error and a track that didn't accept changed track motion parameters... I had to delete and re-add the files...

I see that I can't apply pan/crop... at the end of editing I will "expand to multitrack" and apply all the needed FX, crop, etc... right ?
