Using Acid Pro 7 on Windows 7. When I try rendering an mp3 of one of my projects, I get an approximate completion time that never stops growing (the last time I tried it, I got to 1 hours 45 minutes and counting) and the elasped time moves very slowly such that I never get to even 1% completion. Thoughts?

Separate issue on a different project: when I try creating a .wav file of the song or of the midi piano track alone, the piano sustain pedal signal gets cut off and/or reversed--results in a very choppy-sounding piano track. Am using Steinberg's The Grand 3 as my plug-in for the midi track. Help!

how is rendering in general (i'm assuming that you can render other file types) ? since you don't describe any mp3 registration problems/windows i assume that's not an issue. but if your goal is to render an mp3 do you have sound forge or other audio editor? obviously it's a step that shouldn't be necessary but you could just "save as" in the audio editor.

as far as the sus pedal envelope you might try showng it and make sure it's "hitting" where you want it to.

How about rendering to WAV - does that work OK ?

What VST, DX, VSTi on the 'Render Problem' track ?

Thx. No mp3 registration issues, don't have sound forge or other audio editor, rendering .wav file also doesn't work, VSTi is Steinberg The Grand 3

Hi, I once had this problem. It turned out it was the VSTi I was using - Korg Legacy Cell. If I selected "Real-Time Render" instead of render track, I could get the track to render properly.

Have you tried rendering with a different VSTi ?

That should gtest if the problem is Acid, or The Grand 3. Or possibly some interaction between them.
