Subject:FR: Delete temp files on close.if under X minutes?

When working with really long files it makes sense to keep temp files because the redraw time is really long. But if you're working with a lot of short files, it makes more sense not to litter the drive with tons of same.

How about if we got to qualify which temp files get deleted on close based on length? Sony could specify a specific length, like 30 minutes, but it would make more sense to make this a user definable length because not every system is as efficient. So:

"Delete temporary files on close if length is under XXX minutes."

Yes?

Your ideas may have merit, however this peer forum is not the ideal place to get them noticed by developers.

There is a product suggestion option available by following the support links at the top of this page.

Thanks. I forgot about that. It's a bit of a black hole though....

True, there's no overt response. However, i have seen a couple of my suggestions show up in later versions. By no means all of them, and sometimes not exactly as i described (usually better though). I'd assume they also pay attention to those ideas submitted by multiple people rather than only one, and the ones that the marketing department thinks will bring a ROI.
