I just purchased a new pc from dell which i want to put my acid 3.0, soundforge 5.0 and vegas 2.0 on. I'm no longer going to be using this pc since it was my mothers anyway and i wanted my own to be dedicated to strictly music. The question I am asking is am i gonna have any problems with putting these softwares on my new pc with registration since they have been on a previous unit? Jay |

Hello... No, you won't have any problems since they were previously registered with Sonic Foundry. I had Acid Rock 2.0 on this PC. I purchased Pro 3.0, so I took my Rock 2.0 to work, and installed it on that computer. Sonic Foundry gave me a new activation code to match my work computer ID, and everything was fine. Later. |

To add to what MyST said, be sure, per your software agreement, that you are the only one using the software on any given PC that ACID's installed on (e.g., 2 people shouldn't be using the software at the same time on 2 PC's). If you don't plan on using that PC anymore, then uninstall ACID on that PC. Keeping It Legal, Iacobus |
