Why doesn't sound forge v.5 record from my midi keyboard? The midi triggers menu recognizes the key notes that I play on my keyboard. But when recording, it doesnt record from my keyboard. And the monitor bars don't reply to my keyboard either. Can anybody help me? Midi output works great. Its just the input that im having problems with.

Sound Forge can record audio *period* It does not function to record MIDI information. Plug the audio output from your keyboard to the sound card line in to record audio. The MIDI functions of Sound Forge are for uses other than capturing the notes you are playing. See Help, Contents and Index, Search tab for "MIDI" to view a complete listing. If you need to use MIDI for recording and editing your performances, another (MIDI sequencer) application could be used.
