cd architect

when will sonic foundry post a public beta so that we can see how cd architect has been updated for vegas? Am I the only one whoe views this as an effort to squeeze money out of us that don't have a use for video editing? Would love to see some feedback posted from someone inside the company who knows what the future plans are for this.

CDA was not updated for Vegas. Vegas, so I am told by SF, uses a different approach to burning CD's. Unfortunately for me, that new aproach is not fully compatible with my drive, a Plextor 16/10/40 IDE, as it will only burn at 6X with Vegas 3.0. I like CDA and wish SF would upgrade that to work with the new fast drives. However, Vegas is usefull to me for multitrack audio recording. I don't use the video aspects.
