Hi Everybody, I was curious if Acid 3.0 Pro will actually improve performance or actually make use of the Dual CPU. Especially when using a lot of Direct X FX (6 or more). I know that more RAM can only improve so much of the performance, so would a DUAL CPU be better? I hope someone has tried Dual CPU with Acid 3.0 Pro. Thanks, MattLok Label Director Four01 Recordings www.four01recordings.com P.S. Any "house" fans or better yet JOESKI fans, we just released our new record with a JOESKI remix. |

I run AP3 with dual P3 Xeons under W2K. I can't say that AP3 takes advantage of the duals, but pc systems tend to be more stable with multi cpus. I can run several apps simultaneously without conflicts. Of course, you must have an OS that can use dual cpus. |

I've seen better performance with dual CPU's vs. my previous system. Specifically, using many DirectX plugs and a greater number of tracks within a project. |
