Posted by: mattlok Date:11/7/2001 11:20:47 AM Hi Everybody, I was curious if Acid 3.0 Pro will actually improve performance or actually make use of the Dual CPU. Especially when using a lot of Direct X FX (6 or more). I know that more RAM can only improve so much of the performance, so would a DUAL CPU be better? I can't say that AP3 takes advantage of the duals, but pc systems tend to be more stable with multi cpus. I can run several apps simultaneously without conflicts. Of course, you must have an OS that can use dual cpus.
