In ACID PRO 7...I have recorded a few projects tracking live. At playback after recording the song playback is normal but at some point after saving or reopening the tracks the tempo and pitch drops dramatically...and I can't get it back to Normal. This happened while my BPM and time signature are still at their original settings from when I started the track. Have the whole band here waiting to fix this...Please Help! I've been using ACID since 2.0 and I have never heard of this problem. My first thoughts are 1. Is this a legit copy of ACID? 2. Are the audio tracks you have somehow being read as "loops" instead of "one shots" which would be linear tracks? |

I had a problem with the Adobe CS5 upgrade initially locking up my computer. I went to the official Adobe message board forum and was given suggestions that did not help. As a matter of fact, the suggestion to upgrade my video graphics card ruined my computer! Thank sasquach that my computer suddenly started working again because it seems many have problems using Acid Pro 7 on new 64 bit computers; and that's all you can find in new computers nowadays I'll tell what solved the problem for me and it may work for you, then again... If your operating system is on your C drive. Click on the Start icon in the bottom left of your computer screen. Left click on My Computer, right click on the drive you are using Acid Pro 7 on then left-click on properties. 1) Click on where it says Disk Cleanup and do a disk cleanup of your system. If you are using Windows XP one of the check box options might be to compress your files. I was told you don't want to do that because you will have to un-compress them next time you use them. Besides that you should be able to check all the boxes and everything will be fine for disk cleaning. After the cleaning process is done follow the instructions before # 1 and... 2) Left-click on the Tools tab, click on the Defragment Now button and defragment your hard drive After you have defragmented your hard drive come back to this same window and 3) choose Error Checking, click on the Check Now button. It will tell you that it will check your system for errors the next time you start your computer. Then close out all windows, restart your computer and let it go through the error checking process. *These are things that should be done often. They were not recommended by the hotshot "experts" in the Adobe forum, but they solved the problem for me. Glad I thought of it!!!!! Hope it works for you as well Please keep in mind that I am giving you instructions from my 32 bit Windows 7 Ultimate operating system _________________________________ Message last edited on4/29/2012 8:36:26 PM bySitala. |

"My first thoughts are 1. Is this a legit copy of ACID?" NOTE: I recently cut my son off because he thinks it's okay to have stolen programs, songs and movies on his computer. If all parents did what I have done it would be a better world and us honest people would not have to pay so bloody much for computer programs!!!!! UPDATE: Could be wrong, but I get the feeling this guy is using a stolen copy of Acid Pro 7. If that's the case I HOPE NOTHING WORKS TO FIX IT FOR YOU!!!! I don't take kindly to thieves! ____________________________________ Message last edited on4/30/2012 4:30:18 PM bySitala. |
