Not sure if anyone noticed, but Sony Creative Software did finally update Sound Forge Pro 10 to build 503 - version D. No release notes as of yet. It's the first update in almost 2 years for that program. Could this mean signs of life for Acid Pro? Here's holding out hope. By the way - no press release on that update! Sony Creative Software... Please bring a solid update for Acid Pro 7 or a new version of Acid Pro all together! |

Huh? What 2 years? Release 10.0c came out last July, less than a year ago. |

I see no mention of anything regarding a new SoundForge release whatsoever. If this was a major update - for starters - you would at least see a sticky at the top of that forum telling the gang it was available. And until I do - this phantom "d" build is probably just a minor tweaking of version numbers. VP |

It's real enough alright. The new install file is 5Kb bigger. |

Well - I wasn't implying that it wasn't real. Just that it's not major nor does it even warrant a set of release notes. Not exactly reason to celebrate or start speculating that Sony is on some hot streak with cool new code.... With a miniscule 5kb change in the installer - it could be a revised EULA agreement for all we know. VP |
