can i convert a 60 min. file N2 6, 10 min. files and still... -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:can i convert a 60 min. file N2 6, 10 min. files and still... Posted by: quadjack Date:11/4/2001 9:22:51 PM still rip and burn them to make 1 cd. here we go. i record the services 4 my church,. and get these rather large files. i then burn them to cd and rip them to mp3 for storage. i would like to have 6 tracks so if your favorite part of the sermon is @ the 40 min mark U're not stuck either holding the ff button, like with mine if you dont push or hold the button just right then you go all the way to the front of the cd. or you hold the button for 2 mins get right to the area you want to hear and mis-hit the button, to the front of the cd U go. that get frustrating when it's a 70 mins cd. thankx in advance :)

Reply by: quadjack Date:11/6/2001 6:26:30 AM dude i have tried this and have even remaned the markers but i am unsure it worked. i mean making coasters R part of the game but, what i did doesn't feel right. even when i make coasters i had a good feeling B 4 the burning began. my point is, after going through the process you decribed, should i save the file a certain way?

Reply by: quadjack Date:11/6/2001 6:35:30 AM ok here is how i did it, i broke the file into all the makers and regions, copied them region by region to it's own soundforge window then saved them seperately. then combined them into 1 nero file then burned , seemless. is this what it does with out all the work i put in , or is this the way to go ?

It allows you to automatically save all regions in a .WAV file to seperate .WAV files. You then use Nero (like you did) to combine them all and burn DAO w/o track gaps.

This is actually a FAQ around here. 3 easy steps:

1) Drop Markers and adjust to taste
2) Special | Regions List | Markers to Regions
3) Tools | Extract Regions
