I opened a track from Vegas LE in SoundForge 5.0 because the effects are a bit spiffier in SF 5.0. What I'm having a problem with is that when I do a little bit of eq'ing the track starts to clip. I'm trying to consider what to do. Should I... a)reduce the output sound with the eq plug-in b)lower the high peaks before eq'ing c)compress the track and then eq d)save up my money and buy a clue Thanks, Bluemoon |

any kind of effects that you layer over a sound could cause it to clip.. any of those choices will work.. but what i do is to simply use a soft compression for it(providing that the clipping isnt extreme). if the clipping is more extensive, then id reduce the initial volume before you start eqing and hopefully avoid it all together hope it helps -collapse |
