I was thinking on a purely forensics level with reguard to pulling of voices from the rust squeals of metal to metal that my brain picks up in those sounds. What kind of software is out there to help isolate human vocals from noisy backgrounds or that are embeded in other frequencies? Although the voices are not real people, they are extremely close to them, and they would make wonderful characters in future video works, if they could be extracted, and cleaned up. |

have a look at iZotope RX2 although expensive, and takes a little effort to learn to drive, it's great at removing unwanted noises and frequencies. |
