I uploaded my MS8, plugged in my line6 ux1, and everything froze! I unplugged the ux1 and still the software was not responding. Anything would help at this point.

Make sure your drivers are updated?

I'm assuming you've tried restarting your system? Make sure no unnecessary programs are running in the background.

Twice! Lol i read that you cannot use a toneport ux1 with ms8, maybe that messed it up.

Btw: my computer meets all sys req. and ive made sure there is enough free space as well.
was running ableton livelite with zero problems!!

If all else fails is there a live person i could call up and have them walk me through it?

Should be no reason why it shouldn't work. Are the UX1's ASIO drivers specifically selected? (I don't have/use Music Studio 8 but I'm assuming it's under Options > Preferences > Audio Device as it is under ACID Pro.)

Seriously mD thank u for the help! Im still having trouble getting it to just not freeze.

Im thinking about just taking it off the desktop and putting it on the laptop!! Is that possible since i registered the software on the desktop already?

You're technically entitled to install the software on one other computer (desktop or otherwise) as long as you're the only one using it.

It's a possibility that it might not be the UX1's drivers. Look into your hardware setup (especially video) and see if any updated drivers exist for those devices.
