Hi. I'm not an expert so take my response with a large grain of salt. Users of SF who have the noise reduction plugin (under Direct X) can take a sample (noise print) of noise only and use it to cancel, or reduce, similar noise throughout the file. The Noise reduction plugin is part of a separate (and expensive) package. I find this package extremely valuable for restoring music from ancient phongraph records and I can't do without it. |

You guys are working way too hard and not looking at the answers directly infront of your nose. Open up the Noise reduction plugin and click on the "Help" button, there's a tutorial in there on how to use the plugin, and I believe it even describes what a "noise print" is, if you want I can do a copy and paste and email it for you so that it's even closer to your nose. :-) |
