Subject:Importing .wav files into a project with tempo changes and having problems.

I am creating click tracks in acid. I export the click as a .wav and import into digi-001. From there, I record it to a roland 1680 with time code from digi-001. Then I record the whole band and fly a 2 track submix back to 001. I can then import this into acid as a oneshot and add sounds or acid samples or whatever to fly back into protools . This works great with an acid file that has one tempo, but one with multiple tempos the project get out of time at the first tempo change. I'm not sure how to fix this. Sorry for the long description. Hope someone can help. sg6string |

LISTEN I MAY BE WRONG HERE BUT SOME TIMES I SET THE TEMPO OF A LOOPAY AT 120BPM AND AND WHAT EVER ACID SONG OR TRACK I USE THEM IN BECAUSE OF WHAT ACID DOES THEY WILL MOVE UP OR DOWN TO THE PROJECTS TEMPO ,NOW HERES THE RUB SAY I THEN MOVE THEM INTO A PROTOOLS PROJECT AT 123 BPM THEY WILL BE STILL AT 120 BPM NO MATTER WHAT U DO SO I WOULD LOAD THE CLICK OR LOOP BACK INTO ACID SET THE ACID TEMPO TO WHAT U WANT THE PROTOOLS PROJECT TO BE THEN SOLO EACH TRACK INDIVIDUALY AND HIT MIX TO NEW TRACK /OR RENDER TO NEW TRACK (DEPENDING WHICH VERSION U HAVE 2.0 OR 3.0)AND ALL THE LOOPS WILL SET TO THE PROJECT TEMPO (I BELEIVE IN ACID 3 IF U HIT EXPORT LOOPS ALL THE LOOPS IN A PROJECT WILL BE SENT TO A NEW FOLDER OR PROGRAM AND THE FILE NAME WILL BE FOLLOWED BY ITS TEMPO COOL HEH? HOWEVER V3.0 IS STILL TOO UNSTABLE FOR ME TO PROFFESSIONALLY MOST FIXES CLAIMED TO HAVE BEEN FIXED ARE NOT AS YET BEEN PROVED ! ALLEGEDLY |
