Do you mean like a place where all recorded and MIDI files GO once they are created? Or do you mean "can you save a project with the included media?"

The answer to both is YES. You assign the folder you want all of your audio recorded into, and you can tick the "save copy of media" box when you save a project, so that all relative media for that project is saved along with the project file - VEGAS also has this feature.

No. No media pool. The Recorded Files Folder is the eqivalent, but it is one physical folder.

Yes, I'd like a Media Pool too.....

I see what you are asking now.

ACID doesn't do the "media pool" thing, I believe that a project is dynamic in the sense that if you take something out of a project (such as delete a track), it's no longer associated with the project. I've never really thought about it. But once you SAVE your project, if you click the "save with media" box, you would effectively create a "media pool" of media that is associated with the project. Not quite the same thing.
