Subject:Which Acid crossfades, and reverses?

I am looking at a lower/older version of Acid (as I just need for audio looping) but wanted to remember which 'earliest' versions had crossfades on track, and the 'U" reverse on timeline switch

I am using SoFo Acid Pro 3, which is great but doesn'y have these two simple functions.

I did try acid pro 4, but dont thing still had these two? Was it v5 or v6 that had both of these?

EDIT I did find the Acid Pro 3 create fades which fades two items together with the F key but no reverse???

I'm pretty sure it was ACID Pro 4 that started with reverse but they switched a couple shortcut keys around when ACID Pro 5 came around. B used to be the key to reverse but that became the shortcut for bus tracks while U took over for reversing.

Thanks mD for your reply.

I have downloaded and installed the last Acid Pro 4.0f demo and your right some of the key commands have changed.

U = show master track

But "B" doesn't seem to reverse?? Also the fades don't seem to happen on the same track they just 'cover over' each other, adn it does the adjacent tracks exactly like Acid Pro 3 does.. (which isn't too bad) but shame I can't see anything about the reverse in the timeline??

Correction: I just cross-referenced the different versions of ACID manuals and ACID Pro 6 is the first version of ACID that introduced Bus tracks (using the B shortcut) while assigning reversing to U.

I think ACID Pro 5 is the first version of ACID that introduced reversing (using B as the shortcut since Bus tracks weren't introduced yet). Tried looking at the Pro 4 manual and didn't seem to find reversing in there. Sorry about that. xD
