I had the same issues trying to run earlier versions of Acid on any 64bit OS. I first came across issues back with Windows XP x64 Edition (Acid 6 Pro would actually cause the OS to bluescreen when trying to access any sort of disc burning activity) And then same thing you are seeing (Acid Pro 6) in Windows 7 x64. There I got the "no disks detected" messages similar to yours. You must remember tha Acid v6 (any flavor) is certainly not supported under Windows 7 and this type of behavior should be expected. V6 was circa 2006 - so it probably won't work right on anything but Windows XP (32bit). Acid Pro v7 (and I assume Studio 7) does not have any issues with disc access etc on Windows 7 64bit. VP |
