Subject:SF 6.0 won't extract audio from disc

I've just upgraded my PC and OS to Windows 7. I've re-installed Sound Forge 6.0, but when I try to extract audio from CD, it's scans for devices for ages and then once it's located the drive, tells me that there's no tracks to pick from.

I've tried different CDs. I've updated the software. I can't think of anything else to try.

Could it simply be that SF 6.0 doesn't work with Windows 7?

SF6e = March2003 = Microsoft Windows 98se, Windows Me, Windows 2000, or Windows XP

Very likely therefore that there may be some problems in Win7.....

You could download and install SoundForgePro10 and see if that works ... can be installed concurrently, and will run in Demo mode for a while....
