What is the best 'save as' option for opening wav files, editing them in Sound Forge XP and then using them in ACID Pro 3? |

Definitely WAV if they're small snippets of samples. You can also try the PCA (Perfect Clarity Audio) format, which is also a lossless compression format created by Sonic Foundry. Be aware you won't be able to use the file in PCA format with other apps unless they're SF programs. Also be sure to use the ACID loop creation tools if you plan on using the samples in ACID.
