Subject:mp3 shows waveform but no audio plays

i have a number of 320k mp3s that when i open them in sound forge 10, they show the wave form, but the last (approximately) 10% of file doesn't play audio.

ideas?

What was used to encode them? How big, length, CBR/VBR, ect.? Do they play OK in players like Winamp or WMP?
Can you post some on Dropbox, Yousendit, 4Shared or other file sharing server. Nothing like have hands-on access to check out a file for issues.
