AP7 performance on mac with Wine or Crossover? -ACID Product Family

Ive tried both programs on Ubuntu 10 and 11 and do ok with the AP7 install but run into problems when running the prog. Obviouslly for mac theres bootcamp or vmware etc. Apparently Wine and Crosover will run windows apps faster than full VM's which did seem to be the case with the successful install of Cubase SE in the Ubuntu versions. All in all it was at least as fast as if on an XP install. The point is to have Logic and Acid running side by side.
