How Do i get Acid Pro 4, and Sound Forge 8 to show each others markers on the same wav files?

I sometimes like to put markers on bars in Acid 4 as SF doesn't show bars and this helps when editing - also vice versa, would my SF markers show (I use undo past save) so i'm saving each new edit to update the file

When I go back into Acid, my markers aren't there?

The difference is that in Sound Forge, markers are embedded within the file, while with ACID they are part of the project, not the media files.

I'm not sure about ACID, but in Vegas the source media file's markers show up as thin orange flags within the track. There may be an option to enable that in ACID.

In order to get the markers from ACID into Sound Forge you'd have to render with "save metadata in file" enabled to write the project markers into the WAV file.

Ok thanks, I tried "save metadata in file" in SF with markers attached an no they didn't show up in Acid. Not sure how to do it the other way around in Acid?

I vaguely remember the orange markers in Vegas from SF
