I have a project that is delaying starting when I press play.It plays, but every command is delaying start.I have EZ drumers different cymbals and drums in their own tracks,could that be why I'm using so much CPU ? The project is also large.I have a AMD phenom x4 9650 quad core processor with 8GB system memory and 750GB hard drive.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I once did a project with about 34+ tracks routed to multiple instances of Garritan Personal Orchestra 4. Didn't choke (even though it was just MIDI and little effects processing going on; just a little reverb on the Master channel).

Can't see that happening with your setup either.

I take it this is the only project this does this on? Try muting one track at a time to see if it still delays before the project plays back.

You have multiple instances of EZ Drummer?

If so, why not use one, and rout the tracks to it?

What else makes the project "large?"
