I was wondering if anyone has had any experiance with the new Sound Blaster Audigy cards. I would be more than willing to upgrade, if I had some confidence that it would solve my problem. To date, noone has been able to, although some have tried. To refresh everyone's memory. I am running an AMD Athon running at 700 MHz. I am running windows 2000 and have 768Mb of Ram. I can duplicate the problem with as few as 1 loop although not as often as with 2. I am also running 7200 RPM drives at ATA 66. As always any helpful suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I'm posting a link to another section of our forums, from within the Vegas usergroup. The user has a very similar setup to you, and gets the exact error you receive. Read through this post, see the suggestions, and I think you'll find your solution. Well its now been over a week and I still don't have PC completly up and running. I will admit your potential solution worked. But the side affects far outweighed getting ACID to work. I would not reccomend this solution to anyone unless they are willing to potentially loose everything in their system and start from scratch. All news is not bad though. I am currently testing a potential solution that so far looks very promising and much less painfull than the original solution. I'll email support with the full saga. -Jeff
