Subject:Default Mp3 saving Bitrate???

Hi to all!!!
I'm having a problem... First I load a 192kbps Mp3 file. Then I change something like normalize or anything else so SoundForge enables SAVE button (not Save As). Then when I hit SAVE, SoundForge overwrites the file at 64kbps 22khz...
I mean, it changes the bitrate without asking me...It seems that 64kbps is the default but don't know how to make SoundForge saving in the original bitrate of the file, don't matter what bitrate it is.

I'm looking to the answer on this exact problem. I'm disappointed that no one has replied to this msg. It was posted many months ago. Does anyone know the cause of this problem? When i save an mp3 at 44100, it automatically changes it to 22500. When i save one at 22500, it switches it back to 44100. What the heck?!?
