I am recording my dj mixes into S Forge, I then cut & paste at the transition points to create indiviual tracks for the final CD. 1. Is there an easier way to create cue points for the CD, then cutting and pasting.? 2. When playing the CD, I am getting glitches at the transition points. how can I avoid this? |

first, your probaly getting glitches because you may not be zoomed in all the way when you cut & paste. But there is a much easier way to do this. A friend made a web site just for this function. check it out, it will take you through each step. http://www.insomniactivity.com/SFMixedCDFAQ.htm |

what kind of burning software are you using? if you have CDR-Win or Fireburner it is really easy. CDR-Win is the most user friendly... Take your whole dj mix saved as a .wav file and figure out the times where you want to insert your track changes. go into notepad and create a .cue or .txt file that in this format: Track 01 00:00:00 Track 02 04:22:32 Track 03 06:34:22 etc... open your .wav file in CDR-Win. there is a button to load the .cue or .txt sheet. then burn away... CDR-Win reads the .txt file and automatically inserts the track break at the appropriate time. hope that helps. phil |
