Every one or two years I have to come on here and ask a dumb question. I use Acid Music Studio 8. Currently, when I click on the Track FX button, I cannot find the window that allows me to adjust the FX/vst I've chosen. Before the problem started, I sometimes had to slide the mixing console window or the Explorer window to reveal it, but now that window (don't know its name) is not there. I tried resetting to default, reading help section, etc. The effect I want to use is a guitar amp emulator, a vst, I've used it many times. I can right-click on the FX button on the track bar, and choose the fx, and I can hear that it is working if I play. But I can't get to the window with the vst's interface that lets me adjust the sound or choose a preset. Thanks for any help, hope I've explained this well enough. |

i have had this problem before... For me it was that the fx window actually made its way outside of the visible screen... try change your video resolution and then open acid... you should be able to find the window now... then, center the fx window on on the screen before going back to your usual screen resolution... something like that should work |
