Rednroll You may recall that back in August I came to this forum asking for advice on Micophones. Thur the course of several post's and patient advice I learned that I needed a Mic preamp And other usefull information. I would like for you to know that I did buy the dbx 286A. I am very satisfied with this unit. After much study I bought a Shure WH20XLR to complete my setup. As you pointed out My weak link is my S.B. card. At any rate I am getting far better voice overs then I ever expected. Again Thank You for taking the time to share your expertise. Dave M. |

Wow, I actually got a Thanks for once. LOL, usually I get a "you're an arrogant ass" comment. Glad to help out when I can. I'm not familiar with the Shure Mic that you mentioned, is it a Condenser with multi pattern pick-up switches. If it is, then you probably made a good choice for Voice over type of work. You're Welcome, Brian Franz |
