Ok, I just recently bought both Acid Pro 7 and Music Studio 8. Both programs come with DLC full of loops and samples. Both were the downloadable versions and the Acid Pro I have the DVD on it's way through UPS, Music Studio did not have an option for a DVD package. I do not have winzip or winrar. Should I get one, which if yes? When I simply drag the files into a folder of my own making, it has this little lock over it. I can add the "wav" etc. to the track section (forgot the name) and play it just fine. Render it, and play it Media player, all that. My questions are, why is there that little lock? What does it mean? and If it is a non issue, should I just through every loop and sample (please no) and just drag and drop them all into a new folder under the Acid Pro/ Music studio data fie? Or is that the wrong way? Any advice or solutions would be appreciated, thank you. Message last edited on2/7/2012 1:19:31 PM byBrianC83. |

Is this in ACID's own Explorer window? I've never had an instance of locks appearing over folders. You basically want any of your media (loops, samples, etc.) separate from ACID itself. (i.e., In its own folder, preferably by itself and not as a subfolder of ACID.) Iacobus |
