can someone tell me how I can mix in mono then switch back to stereo after.Thanks

At the top of the Mixing Console you will see a button that looks like a pair of speakers pointing away from each other. (If you point at it you will see a tooltip sayimg "Downmix Output".)

Click on this button and it will change to a single speaker and the output you hear will change to become a mono sum of your stereo output. Click it again and you will be back to normal stereo operation.
