It seems to be something to do with the plugins???
Only the projects that report an error when loading regarding the "presets not being able to be loaded" for different fx plugins have the squeeking problem,
i notice for some reason the old sonicfoundry fx's that I used on some of the projects are now saying they are "demos" I definitely own them and got them with older software.....could these "demos" be making the noise because I dont even have to play the file and it is making these noises. If so how do I reregister them and get rid of this noise?

Yes that was the problem....the old sonicfoundry plugins were loaded as "demos" on the new computer, so I reloaded the old Soundforge 6 and then put soundforge 10 back in.Everything works again other than the presets not being loaded for Fx's....is there a file where the presets are stored?
