Subject:Acid Pro 7 on SSD drive

Added a OWC Mercury Extreme Pro 3G last week and AP7 performance has never been better.

Definitely a better performance boost than I had expected.

I have some older Acid MS5 and 7 files that will drop audio from time to time (to do with the effect "Acid FX" ...I think) that now play fine.
I assume there is a buffer read issue with the effect..? I dont recall it being a problem when I was writing in MS5 and 7.

Ive always had the best results with AP7 on XP32 so that is what Ive put on the SSD. Theres no trim support on XP but there seem to be plenty of utilities available.

The only extra adjustment Ive made in Acid is to set the temp folder to a usb or ramdisk to lessen extra write cycles on the drive.
