Subject:Mixing 2 tracks together - in sync at start, then NOT in sync at end?!?!

I am mixing a vocal track with an audio track from a karaoke cd. In the beginning, I get the voice & music in sync perfectly. Then, at the end of the song, the vocal track becomes slightly ahead of the music track. I am no pro at this & I am not sure if it is my computer, my software, the singer, or what. The singer says she is not at fault, so I dunno what it is. This has happened on more than one song.

Please let me know if any of u have had this problem & whether u know of a remedy.

Hello,

Are you using any kind of effects, and what do you have Acid set for, (To Follow Sync Or Not),for the Vocal File your putting in, try both.

I am NOT using the Beat Mapper or any effects. Where do I set Acid to Follow Sync? Maybe that will help, but I cannot find where that is.
