Thanks.Um I looked at their websites and none of them has Acid pro listed as compatible.kind of like almost every plug in and vst out there that's not from Sony.I cant tell how many times I have had to fix things because of a plug in or VST's not being compatible and causing funky stuff and crashes. So I thought I would ask before I try the trial versions and maybe avoid all the hassles of non compatible for Sony programs.Have you actually tried your suggested programs ? |

Sony Soundforge/Vegas/Acid VST and Direct X are the plug-in formats used by Sony software. Our testing has shown that latest versions of the Sony software products are not fully compatible with Auto-tune 5. To use Auto-Tune 5 VST within Sony Soundforge 8, please take the following steps to apply the Graphical Mode changes: - Go to View, then select Plug-in Chainer - In the new box that appears, there is a green button next to a red X button that is labeled "Add Plug-ins to Chain" - Press the 'Add Plug-ins to Chain' button and then choose Auto-Tune VST from the list - To preview with Auto-Tune corrections on, make sure to use the Plug-in chainer's play/preview button. If you use Sound Forge's master preview button, you will not be using the Plug-in chainer and you will not hear the preview of Auto-Tune - When satisfied with the Graphical Mode changes you have made, click 'Process Selection', which is directly to the right of the play/preview button. Please note: In Graphical Mode of Auto-tune 5 it is necessary to switch to the Internal clock setting to get the pitch to be tracked |

We constantly perform tests with the DAWs listed above to assure a flawless functionality of Melodyne inside them. While we cannot guarantee full functionality in other DAWs, Melodyne may still run flawlessly with them. So, if your DAW isn't on the list above or your personal configuration differs from what we have tested, we invite you to test Melodyne editor for 30 days free of charge. If Melodyne performs well on your system during the test period, it will still do so after you purchased it. Please note: the G5 is not supported anymore since Version 2 of Melodyne editor, assistant and essential. As an alternative to using Melodyne as a plug-in you can also run it as a Rewire slave to your DAW on up to 4 stereo channels. On a general note: When trying out Melodyne in any DAW, we do recommend that you set the buffer size to 1,024 samples. Smaller values lead to a significantly higher CPU load. Please note: with sample editors like Steinberg Wavelab, Sony Sound Forge, or Bias Peak the plug-in variants of Melodyne cannot be used. Please use the stand-alone variant instead. |
