Hello, I am at a point now with Acid Pro that I want to use an external keyboard/MIDI device though I know nothing about it. I have a shot at a good priced Axiom 25 though I can't find any good info on using it with Acid. Anyone have thoughts? I want to be able to make my own synth loops and possibly some drum loops. Thanks! |

The Axiom 25 is a MIDI controller, which means you'll be able to control soft synths in ACID Pro just fine with it but it does not produce sounds by itself. Iacobus |

the Axiom 25 works good with Acid been using it over a year or two maybe with no problem.Remember it's a midi controller |

I am glad to hear that. I bought the Axiom 25 and I understand it is a MIDI controller however I can't find any tutorials on setting it up with Acid or how to use it. It came with a link to directlink though that does not include Acid. How did you learn how to set it up and use it? |

First Acid will see the Axiom.if connected with USB before starting acid Under insert tab insert a midi track Then you will see USB Audio in the information box on left of track hit it Then hit insert soft synt All of your Soft Synths you have loaded will show up hit one now your Axiom will play the Synt in acid.If none are loaded use Sony DLS soft Synth The Axiom can be set up different ways with each soft synth.Just jump into it you will find all kinds of way's to use all of it's controls.
