I try to encode Dolby Digital .wav, after I encode it and try to play the music, I can't hear nothing but a very loud noise, does anyone know how can i fix it ????

What you're hearing is the coded signal, it just needs to be run through a Dolby decoder in order to hear the audio properly.

how do you run through Dolby decoder, I'm new about this so would ya show me how ?????? Ted

My sb live 5.1 seems to only be able to reproduce .ac3. DD wav gives me too nothing but noise. But make sure the sample rate of the wav pcm files is set to 48kHz. I got noise when I by mistake used 44.1kHz sampled wave files.
