We spend our winters in Florida. I have ACID Pro 7 here as well as up North in Michigan. I DON'T have Windows 7 on my computer in Michigan and there, Acid 7 works just fine. Never a problem. In Florida I DO HAVE WINDOWS 7 and I am having one problem after another with Acid Pro 7. I'm just about to uninstall Acid 7, reinstall god old reliable Acid Pro 5 and pray for the best. Could there be a conflict or is it more likely just me. Ken Ford . |

Acid Pro 7 was never designed for (or officially supported) on Windows 7. It was released 2008 and had XP and Vista only support. Having said that - most of us have gotten it to work on Windows 7 - but as it seems this software is now reaching end of life (no updates, news or anything in months)....it may be time to look elsewhere. Or install Windows XP and a copy of Acid Pro 5 - just so you can get working again :) VP |

Well...not sure what they "added" to suddenly declare "support" but this forum has plenty of threads with folks have been having issue with Acid on Windows 7 even after 7.0d. To me - any software that was made in 2008 can't possibly be truly optimized or coded specifically for Windows 7 since Win 7 did not exist in 2008. That being said - I didn't have any issues when I had Acid installed in Windows 7 64bit. VP |
