Means "non-in-place" is going on. It's a fancy way of saying what you see on the waveform for that track won't be as you hear it. (e.g., Gapper/Snipper effect; time stretch effect; almost anything that affects the original length of the waveform.) Iacobus |

It indicates that the plugin does not process inplace and introduces a latency, but it depends on how much latency the plugin introduces. For playback this has little affect if the overall hardware buffer size is small. For recording, a plugin that introduces latency can cause problems, so if the plugin is in the recording path, it will be bypassed. Peter Message last edited on1/3/2012 7:44:27 PM bypwppch. |
