Just installed VP 11 on my machine with an ATI FirePro V7750 video card. Under Options > Preferences >Video > "GPU acceleration of video processing", the only option in the pull down list is "Off". Does Pro 11 not support GPU acceleration with this card, or do I need to configure something else for it to recognize the card?
Supported cards for GPU-acceleration
To take full advantage of the GPU-acceleration in Vegas Pro 11, you will need a supported card with at least 512 MB of GPU memory.
NVIDIA
Requires a CUDA-enabled GPU and driver 270.xx or later with a GeForce GTX 4xx Series or higher GPU (or driver 285.62 or later with a GeForce GT 2xx Series or higher GPU).
AMD/ATI
Requires an OpenCL-enabled GPU and Catalyst driver 11.7 or later with a Radeon HD 57xx or higher GPU. If using a FirePro GPU, FirePro unified driver 8.85 or later is required.
I just noticed a similar problem I have a Radeon 5770 1gig card, when I had the Trial version installed I could turn GPU on and off I just ran the Rendertest and then went and checked the GPU status and I noticed that I only have the OFF choice, the only thing different is I bought the real version yesterday.
