Hey guys, can someone help me out. Im having extreme tempo issues with Fruity to Acid transfers. Tempo's are set in fruity, but ACID forces a tempo calculation and i cant even get a kick drum to be accurate. Neddless to say its unusable, I dont know why it cant figure it out but i'd be fine if i could just specify the incoming files tempo, can anyone help?

Do you have Sound Forge 5 or Sound Forge XP Studio 5? Both have tools that will help "ACIDize" the file so that it loops correctly in ACID.

Don't have it? Email me and I'll try and help you out.

Hello,

Are you trying to create loops, or are you transfering whole songs? I need to know this to give you some ideas to try. I have Fruity Loops Pro 3.0 and Acid 3.0 Pro, and I don't have any probs making loops to use in Acid. But let us know, We'll try to help.

hey well here's what i figured out with acid and fruityloops..when I export loops to acid I just set the tempo in acid the same as fruity loops and works perfect...

here's how its done...
remember your tempo you use in fruityloops...lets say you set it to 85 so you export all your tracks put em into acid..ok now before you put it into acid there should be a slider bar at the bottom right corner of your track organizer...it should say BPM..double click on the number and change that to the tempo you had in fruityloops...now drag the tracks in and loop it..should work perfect..the only thing is if u need to export additional loop tracks your gonna have to change the beats...

hello...im doing the same thing as you..but having no problems...make sure your tempos in both fruityloops and acid are the same...default in fruityloops is 140..in acid 120...so if you save a frity file to wave at 76 bpm...make sure when you open it in acid..your tempo is also 76 bpm..works for me

OK Here's what I found out,

After creating your loop in Fruityloops, then export as wave file, then the wave dialog comes up, select cut itself from the loop properties. If you don't the loop will not loop properly in Acid 3.0 (The loop end and beginning wont line up). So selecting cut itself fixes that. But you also have to do what everybody else says about setting the timing the same in Acid as it is in F.L. Do this by double clicking the Track Icon after importing it into Acid Then set the Beats to the same as it was in F.L. 4,8,12,or16.

Hope this helps.
