Subject:My soundforge 4.5 is dead!

Help! Recently I installed an internal zip-drive on my computer, and now for some reason soundforge isn't working... It only tells me to reinstall the program, which I have done several times now, without solving the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions what it can be? Could it be a software conflict?

Simple answer, Yep could be. You also might have a registry problem. It's always a good idea to save your registry when things are working and before installing new stuff. I'm one to be guilty of not doing this. Try removing the Zip drive and see if that solves the problem. You can also make multiple hardware configurations to add and remove hardware, to do some trouble shooting.

Also if you suspect that you are having a problem with registry entries contact the Technical Support Department. They will be able to assist you in removing all of them for the application. Essentially getting you back to a completely clean install of the app. You can get them by sending an email to support@sonicfoundry.com or by filling out the form at http://www.sonicfoundry.com/support/supportmail.asp .
