Vegas Pro 11 64-bit slow to start up and other iss

Ive been using Pro 11 64-bit and have been running into many issues that V.10 did not produce.

1) Crashes all the time doing lots of various editing tasks.

2) Every time I load a project it has to rebuild the audio tracks. (This may be a setting that I changed) I don't know. Takes over 10 minutes on some projects.

3) Sometimes the FX window will freeze, but everything else seems to be OK. I have to restart Vegas to fix this.

4) When rendering, only around 40 to 50% of my ram gets used and the CPU is running around the same. Render seems to be slower since the upgrade.

I hope everyone's issues are eventually solved, but I think you're being hard on the forum as a whole. People are sharing all the information they have and the majority here try to help as much as possible.

I've only had V11Pro installed for 3 days, but I find it virtually identical in performance to 10 so far. I do not have a GPU that supports the new acceleration features, and perhaps those features are where some of the problems lie. As long as we're all running different systems and different software in addition to Vegas, it's impossible for any of us to duplicate another's exact scenario. Everyone wants SCS to make it run perfectly on all systems, but it obviously isn't yet to that point.

Other than those who are simply here to spread negativity, all of us want the same thing - stable software. No one has anything to gain by blaming a user's computer - unless that happens to be the problem. Sometimes it is.

Thanks for the replies. Still having the same issues. But this time it corrupted the file when it crashed and I have to resort to a file from a few hours ago. Ive never had a corrupted file before.

Ive just updated and still get the same error when trying to open the file. "an error occurred whilst loading the project file. The file is most likely corrupted or of an unknown format"

Ahhhhhhh!
