Hi,
When ever I try to open Sound Forge 5.0, it seems to open but then closes. The loading screen comes up, but after it goes away the program shuts down. I have no idea why it started doing this, it was working fine. If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it alot, I need to use Sound Forge for a College class I'm taking. Thanks again,
-Matt

This doesn't happen to anyother program? You are being a little vague too.

OS? ram? mhz? soundcard?

Nope, this doesn't happen to any other program, only with Sound Forge. I'm on a PIII 433, 96 megs of RAM, with Windows 98. I first noticed this problem after I installed Adobe Premiere 6.0, so maybe there are some conflicting issues...i just don't know what they are.

Uninstall Adobe and see if the problem goes away. Try uninstalling and reinstalling SF and see if it goes away.

SF informs us that 5.0 may not work with Win98 first edition. I have used the demo and regular release of 5.0 under Win98 FE with no problem whatsoever on TWO computers.

I had the same problem with P.S. 6.0 and My Pinnacle video editing program. I went through all the hoops trying to get these two programs to 'Live' together on the same system. Finaly I had reformat to get anything to work at all. No problems with P.S. 5.5
