Is it possible to use a MIDI keyboard with Acid studio 8 or is this a pro feature only..? If so, can you recommend me a good midi keyboard under $500... Thanks in advance.. |

Sure, you can. You just have to ensure that whatever you pick for a MIDI keyboard is enabled in ACID's options for MIDI input. Most, if not all, MIDI keyboards nowadays use USB to connect to your computer. (It's not just limited to keyboards either; anything with MIDI capability like drum/percussion controllers can be used as well. Some keyboards even come with velocity-sensitive pads.) Just about any company that's reputable have keyboards well within your price range--Korg and M-Audio off the top of my head. Iacobus |
